Description
Official souvenir program celebrating the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Hector emigrants to Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
The week long and county wide celebrations went from Sunday, July 15th to Saturday 21st, 1923.
Some of the celebrations included parades, beacon fires, church services, concerts, baseball, football, and cricket matches, fireworks, horse racing, reenactments, highland games, quoits tournament, piping and highland dancing competitions, regattas, balls, picnics and motor boat races.
All five towns and county participated celebrations.
