Description
“This is the last Will and Testament of Ms. Mary Killer of Pictou in the Province of Nova Scotia. Made this twenty seventh day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven.
First I will that all my just debts Funeral and testamentary expenses be paid. Secondly, I will devise and bequeath to Mrs. N. Br. during the term of her natural life time the sum of eight hundred dollars and at her death the said sum to be divided equally between the Foreign Mission and Bible Society.
Thirdly I will devise and bequeath to Agness Romans daughter of the late James Romans the sum of five hundred dollars.
Fourthly I will devise and bequeath to my sister Catherin and her husband E. McLeod during their lifetime or the lonest liven of them the sum of $145.60 which the have [nousin?] their bonds but secured to me by mortgage on their land proper with the interest that may become due thereon from the twenty six of March 1869 and at their death the said sum to my niece Lizzie Smith.
I approve on ordain James Killer of Truro to be sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.”
