Mr. Ebenezer McLeod
Dear Sir,
Three or four months ago I wrote to you to see if you could get the Eight pounds from Donald McKenzie Blacksmith which I lent him and paid by you to him. I have not heard from you since will you please let one known at once if you have done any thing in the matter as I need money very badly and any way let me know whither you will do any thin in the matter and if you [have?] then demand the amount of your charges out of the eight pounds and send one the Balance at once.
