Description
Stone home of John MacKenzie built c1832, located on Lyons Brook Road at the base of Hardwood Hill.
This photograph was part of an award winning exhibit created by Professor Nicholls for a competition of the 1978 Joseph Howe Festival in Halifax. Professor Nicholls intention was to show Pictou Town as it would have appeared c 1830.
