Description
"The Dayspring was a beautiful little vessel with two masts, [and] brigantine rigged. Her hull was painted white to resist the tropic heat. She sailed out of Halifax in 1863 with 17 souls abroad. She was bound for the mission field in the New Hebrides - more than seven thousand (7000) miles away."
