Description Will of William Carson of Pictou, NS

(Handwritten) Will of Wm. Carson, deceased Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds I William Carson of Pictou in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Tinsmith Do make and publish my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say, I will and direct that all my just and lawful debts be paid and my funeral expenses be paid b y my executors hereinafter to be named out of the proceeds of my estate I will devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary her heirs and assigns all my real estate consisting first of that house and lot situate on the north side of Water Street in the said Town of Pictou and on which I now reside, and Second a lot of land and buildings situate at the east end of the Town of Pictou aforesaid conveyed to me by James Carson on the eighth day of February one thousand eight hundred and eighty six to Have and to Hold the same in fee simper forever I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary all my personal property of every kind whatever consisting of goods in store furniture cooking utensils, dishes of every kind, debts due to me, money in Banks and life insurance property of every description and wherever found Finally I hereby nominate and appoint my brother Adam Carson to be executor and my wife Mary to be executrix of this my last Will and Testament giving them full power to *** all business connected with the execution of this my last Will and Testament also I hereby revoke all wills and testaments heretofore by me made and executed. In witness whereof I have beneath subscribed my name and affixed my Seat at Pictou this fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two Signed William Carson L.S. Signed Sealed and declared to be the last Will and Testament of the Testator in the presence of us who, in the presence of each other and in his presence and at his request and have signed our names as witnesses. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of William Carson late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Tinsmith deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 12th day of June AD 1902.
