Estate of James Primrose late of Pictou, Merchant, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

The last Will and Testament of me James Primrose of Pictou, Merchant.

I give and bequeath to Nancy Stevenson in case she survives me, One hundred and twenty dollars, yearly during her natural life, payable quarterly, in consideration of her long and faithful services in my family.

I give and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever, to my two sons Clarence and Howard to be equally divided between them, and to their heirs and assigns forever subject however to the payment of them of the foregoing annuity.

And I hereby nominate and appoint my said sons Clarence and Howard Executors of this my last Will and testament and hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I declare this to be my last Will and testament.

In witness whereof I the said James Primrose have to this my last Will and Testament in duplicate original Set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of James Primrose late of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Merchant deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this thirtieth day of October A.D. 1882.
