Description
The two gravestones are located in the Pictou Laurel Hill Cemetery (PP 01 in the Ritchie Cemetery Listing).
The taller gravestone on the left has John Fogo and Elizabeth Fogo on its left side, and James Fogo Sr., his wife Elizabeth Fogo, and his child Ellen Fogo on its front.
The shorter gravestone on the right has the names of Annie D. Fogo (née Brown) and George Fogo engraved on the left, and James Fogo Esq., and his wife Elizabeth Fogo on its front.
The second shorter gravestone reads on its left:
"ANNIE D. BROWN
GEORGE FOGO
Died [x] 1897
Aged 58 years" (inscription for Annie)
The front side of the gravestone reads:
"JAMES FOGO ESQ.
Barrister
Judge of Probate
for Pictou County
[x]
Born at Glasgow
Scotland
20th June 1811
Died 15th Jan 1898
ELIZABETH
his wife
Died 7 June 1896"
