Sea Captain

The Pictou Lobster Carnival, July 6 1938

The yacht owner in this photo is not identified, but he had his boat in Pictou for the 1938 Pictou Lobster Carnival.

In the background are the two freight sheds that were completely destroyed in the 1946 waterfront fire. Railroad tracks ran between the two buildings and freight was easily unloaded and reloaded from both buildings.
