Original land transfer to Robert Patterson signed by Alexander McNutt.

I hereby promise to give or Procure a Good Sufficient Grant of Two Lotts or Rights of Land in the Township of Alexandria at Pictou to Mr. Robert Patterson throughout the Several Divisions upon the same Terms with the other first Settlers, on part of which is laid off adjoining Dr. Harris at a Point of Land on the North side of the Harbour (called Pleasant point) to consist of one Hundred Rods from – Post link – and Lanes Excepted out of the same, and whereas the aforesaid Robert Patterson has Improven a piece of Intervale upon the West River, that another portion of the Rights Aforesaid shall be assigned him there or Compensation made him for whatever parts of his Improvements may fall out in any other Division in the Intervale
