George Henry Little
George Henry Little was born in 1885 at Pictou, the son of Samuel Burridge Little and Charlotte Dobson Little. He grew up with six siblings - Rachael (MacLellan), James Dobson, Mary (Draper), John Harold, and Phoebe (Strickland).
George was a WWI veteran seeing service in France and Belgium.
In 1919 he joined the bridge and building department of the Canadian National Railway.
George was married to Edith May McTavish, the daughter of Alexander McTavish and Jennie Stewart McTavish of Bear Island, Richmond County, NS.
George and May had two sons, Lawson and Harold.
George H Little died when he was 68 on 3 December 1953. His obituary states he was a well-known and highly regarded citizen of Pictou.
