Mother's Grandfather Douglas

Alexander Douglas, New Glasgow merchant. Born in Sutherlandshire, Scotland about 1798 to John and Grace Douglas. He married Jane McLellan, daughter of Donald McLellan of McLellan's Brook. Alexander Douglas died 8 May 1877 at the age of 77.
