Description
Dobbin Still Most Popular For Town Delivery
Only One Left - Shown here is the only horse delivery left in Pictou town in connection with a modern business. John Blackie pauses a moment for the picture as he drives Ted, the black delivery horse. Goldie, 10 years in the same delivery service, is used on alternate days. Six days a week, excluding Wednesday afternoons, John Blackie with his two horses makes five trips each day to various sections of the town in the free delivery service of D. Logan and Company. (R.
