Most likely the husband of Elizabeth Janette "Lizzie" McMinn Horan. Lizzie was the grand daughter of Allan and Janet Grant McDonald of Hardwood Hill, Pictou, Nova Scotia. Her mother was Margaret McDonald who married Alexander McMinn. Lizzie was born about 1867 at Providence, Rhode Island.
The photo was taken by A P Flaglor in San Francico probably between 1883 to 1885.
