Margaret Catherine (Fraser) MacKenzie (1867 - 1962) married Murdock MacKay MacKenzie on June 24, 1903 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Murdock was born at Salt Springs, Pictou County, Nova Scotia Aug 11, 1878 and died Pictou, Pictou County, Nova Scotia on July 21, 1943. Murdock's parents were Alexander MacKenzie and Catherine MacKay. Murdock worked as a Tailor in Pictou.
Margaret is the daughter of James and Nancy (McRae) Fraser of Toney River. Margaret was born at Toney River and passed away at Pictou in 1962. She is buried at Halburton Cemetery with her husband.
Margaet and Murdock had a daughter,Evelyn Abigail MacKenzie (1906 - 1960) who apparently remained unmarried. Evelyn MacKenzie was the Registrar of Probate for the Municipality of Pictou. She is buried with her parents in Haliburton Cemetery, Pictou, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
