Description
Note there is some description on the parcel map that the 50 acre land plot was "sold at public auction" on the "1st July, 1828" and that the "purchasers name marked in red ink." The name in red ink is that of Alexander McRae. Further, it is believed that Alexander McRae was residing on this property long before any public auction or issuance of a Crown Land Grant. In any case, this is the records as they are available.
