Photo identified as Uncle George McDonalds Girls

Possibly seven daughters of George and Dolena McKenzie McDonald. George Grant McDonald was the brother of Alexander McDonald and son of Allan and Janet Grant McDonald of Hardwood Hill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

George married Dolena McKenzie who was born in New Brunswick. They moved to Comox Vancouver, British Columbia where George managed The Elk Hotel.

George and Dolenas daughters were: Margaret, born 23 July 1877 in California; Emma, born 26 February 1879 in BC; Flora, born 1 November 1880 in BC; Lydia, born 17 April 1882 in BC; Bessie, born 10 September 1884 in BC; Jessie born 19 July 1885 in BC and Maud born 12 March 1889 as per the 1901 census for Comox, Vancouver, BC. According to the 1891 census for Comox they also a daughter, Ella D born about 1879 in BC.
