Rev George McMillan with his brother Rev John McMillan
John McMillan was born 27 November 1842 and George about 1852 at Scotch Hill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
Their parents were Duncan D and Mary McMillan of Scotch Hill.
Their other siblings were Dunan McMillan of Scotch Hill, Daniel A McMillan of Pictou town, and a sister Mary McDonald who lived at Hardwood Hill, Pictou County, NS.
Rev George McMillan remained a bachelor and Rev John McMillan married Elizabeth Wiswell of Halifax. They had three daughters, Sadie, Millie and Annie.
Rev George died in June 1913 and Rev John died May 1923.

Colin Seaforth MacKenzie, of Rogers Hill, Pictou County, emigrated to Aberdeen, Grays Harbor County, Washington in 1899. This photograph of him (far right, with glasses) was taken circa 1900. He died as a deputy sheriff while tracking an outlaw in 1912.
