Pictou, 10th January, 1816.
Sir,—
At the Annual Meeting of Mr. McKinlay's Congregation, held on the 5th instant, the subject of building a new Church was mooted; whereupon it was resolved to postpone the Meeting until Monday the 26th instant, at 11 o'clock, and that the Committee of Management invite all the Members of the Congregation to meet on that day, to consider this important matter.
You are therefore respectfully requested to attend the said Meeting on that day; and it is desirable tht every Member of the Congregation should make a point of being present.

*from Jack Cunninghams notes - Rev. John MacKinlay, native of Stirlingshire, Scotland came to Pictou in 1817. He was minister of Prince Street Presbyterian Church and died at Pictou, 20 October 1850, aged 63.
