Lilly Carson McBain, born 1886 married Charles William MacKenzie, mother of Leonard MacKenzie.  

Lilly was the daughter of John McBain (1843 - 1911) and Isabella Ross (1846 - 1889).  Her sisters were: Eliza McBain Oliver, Christina McBain Langille, Jane and Mary. 

Lilly shared her love of horses with her son Leonard who was an equestrian rider.
