Four out of seven daughters of William and Euphemia McLeod Bickers of Cariboo River, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

William Bickers was born 1842 in England.  He emigrated to Canada in 1862 and married Euphemia McLeod of Halifax in December 1863.  

Hughena Catherine Bickers was born 1870

Hilda Florence Bickers was born 1877

Mary Matilda Bickers was born 1883

Lexerena (Lexy) (Rena) Bickers was born 1879
