Description
Know all men by these presents, that we, Kenneth R. Cotter of Sunridge, in the County of Pictou, Black-smith and farmer, and D Henderson Cameron of Sunridge in the County of Pictou farmer are held and firmly bounded unto Howard Primrose of Pictou of Pictou, in the county of Pictou, Gentleman, Executor of the last will and testament of John W. Forbes deceased, in the sum of Four hundred and Eighty Dollars of Lawful money of Canada to be paid to the said Howard Primrose, Executor as aforesaid, his heirs, executors, administrators successors and assigns for which payment well and truly to be made, we do bind ourselves, and each of us for himself our and every of our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated this ninth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.
Now the Condition of this obligation is such, That is the above bounded Kenneth R. Cotter, his heirs, executors or administrators shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Howard Primrose, Executors as aforesaid, his heirs, executors, administrators, successors or assigns the full principle sum of Two hundred and Forty Dollars and interest secured to be paid by a certain Indenture of Mortgage bearing even date herewith, made or mentioned to be made by the said Kenneth R. Cotter and Willena J. Cotter his wife to the said Howard Primrose, Executor as aforesaid, and shall observe and perform all the covenants and provisions contained in the said mortgage, then this obligation shall be void, otherwise shall remain in full force and effect. And we the above bounded Kenneth R. Cotter and D Henderson Cameron do hereby ourselves, our and every of our heirs, executors and administrators covenant with the said Howard Primrose, Executor as aforesaid, his heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns that he and they shall be at liberty from time to time at his and their discretion to discharge securities, if any, collateral to the said Mortgage, or to allow the said Mortgage money to be in arrears, or to extend the time for payment thereof, or of any part thereof without our consent or otherwise deal therewith, and with the said Kenneth R. Cotter his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in whatsoever manner he or they think proper form time to time without notice to us or either of us, and that notwithstanding the same, this security shall continue in full force as long as any monies remain due or unpaid on the said Mortgage.
