Three obituaries from the April 10th, 1862 edition of the Eastern Chronicle for Hugh McPhee, John D. Cameron, and John Dewar.
"DIED
At Toney River, on the 22nd of February, Mr. Hugh McPhee, having reached the extraordinary age of more than 100 years.
At Loch Broom, on Wednesday the 3rd, Mr. John D. Cameron, in the 50th year of his age.
At Barney's River, on the 1st of April, John Dewar, senior, in the 87th year of his age. He was a native of Perthshire, Scotland, and emigrated to this country in 1801."
