Description
Robert Leadbetter Cavanagh was born on April 13, 1843, in Pictou, Nova Scotia. His father was James Cavanagh and his mother was Marion Leadbetter. He married Willena McKay and they had four children together. He then married Margaret S. Irving and they had five children together. He died on November 8, 1917, in Pictou, Nova Scotia, at the age of 74 having farmed in Barney's River all his life. This photo was likely taken in Barney's River.
