Description
Printed in the Pictou Advocate, 17 Dec 1910.
William H. MacLaren.
Mr. MacLaren has been in business all his life. After learning the dry goods and gents' furnishing business with Isaac Grant, he opened for himself in these lines, giving it up eight years ago to take up the coal business of the late J. T. Paulin, to which he has added Drake's drinks, etc., etc. Williams's strong point is his ability as a "dickerer" and he is very fond of curling for the oysters.
