Description
Whereas John M'Gregor of the settlement of Merigomish in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, yeoman by Deed of Indenture bearing date the ninth day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight, conveyed to Alexander Forbes of said Merigomish, miller, and to John M'Donald, Angus's son, of the same place, yeoman, jointly upon certain conditions and considerations, as will fully, and more clearly appear, by reference being had to said deed of Indenture, a certain lot piece or parcel of land, situated lying and being in Merigomish aforesaid, beginning at the line of John Rankin Senr.'s land on Sutherland's River (so called) and runs from thence south eighty eight degrees thirty minutes east, one hundred and thirty sever rods, and from thence to a small hemlock tree thirteen rods, and from thence north forty eight degrees west, one hundred and fifty three rods seventeen links, and from thence south eighty one degrees west twenty five rods till it comes to said river, and from the several courses of the said river, ill it comes to the place of beginning, containing seventy acres more or less - now this indenture made the fourth day of December in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven, between John M'Donald son, of the aforesaid, John M'Donald, Angus's son, and Alexander McGregor son of the aforesaid John M'Gregor. Â Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of forty five pounds current money of Nova Scotia current money of Nova Scotia to him, the said John M'Donald, John son in hand well and truly paid by the said Alexander M'Gregor on or before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, aliened, enfeoffed, released, confirmed, and by these presents, doth grant, bargain
