Dear Brother
Your letter of 5th came safe to hand and I suppose you have received the seeds before this as I sent them by last coach I wish you had mentioned about the turnip seed before I sent it up as I will want about 28D of it
I really don’t know what to make of Elizabeth but if she insists to go to service I would send her to the asylum again I received a letter from her two or three weeks ago. She enquired for Tom Johnstone amongst the rest and I have not written her since but intend doing so by next opportunity
I will advertise immediately after I get the papers all settled
I have been very busy with seeds and have now got another boy a son of John Richardsons (confectioner)
I have had a severe pain in my right side for the last three weeks and have not been able to do much for it till last Sunday Dr. Almon thought it was possible it is something better now but not wright yet. Can you spare me 8 oz. sage, 4 oz. sweet marjoram, 4 oz. summer savory
Over
I have sent by coach a bag of seed for Dr. Anderson thought it would be late to wait for a vessel* I will write the Dr by Saturdays coach
Caroline has not arrived yet but we expect her tomorrow morning I am obliged for your attention and will have the stumps taken out immediately
Your affectionate Brother
Robt
