Estate of Duncan Ross, late of Fraser's Mountain in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Duncan Ross of Fraser's Mountain Pictou County Nova Scotia being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged.

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter to Tana Mae Ross one building lot of land in Trenton Pictou County Nova Scotia marked No twelve, bounded by Glass Street marked on plan.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Jessie Bell Ross one building lot in Trenton marked No. thirteen on plan also bounded on Glass Street.

The residue of my estate personal or real or any other whatsoever found in my favor I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Marjory Ross so that she will be allowed to rule and provide a house for herself and my children as long as they see it best to live together and that she will be allowed to dispose of the property as she may consider will be to their advantage and for their comfort and safety.

I hereby appoint Sarah Marjory Ross my wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament here by revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan Ross late of Fraser's Mountain in the County of Pictou  deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 26th. day of December 1899.
