Jan. 6th. 1898
Know all men by these present that I Roderick McKenzie of Meadowvale, Pictou Co. & Province of Nova Scotia Farmer being of sound mind do hereby make this my last will and testament.
I will devise and bequeath that all my just & lawful debts be first paid out of my estate.
I will devise and bequeath to my wife Christy Ann all my personal property & real estate every thing that belongs t me to be and by her as she thinks best.
I appoint my three sons in law viz. Daniel Sutherland, John Leithead and Isaac Rowbley to be my executors of this my Will & testament.
Given under my hand and Seal this Sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight in the presence of
John A. Cairns and Alice Cairns as witnesses.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Roderick McKenzie late of Scotsburn in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 5th. day of February AD 1903.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 5th. day of February AD 1903.
