Mr. John Key,

Sir, I this day received yours of this date offering to take me as an apprentice to learn your business of the wright trade for the space of three full years from the first day of April first and me to pay you the sum of six pounds sterling in name of apprentice fee the one half at my entry and the other half when m time was half done you are to provide me in bed and board for the same turn of my apprenticeship the above and all the rest of the conditions and [speculations?] mentioned in your said letter to me that is to say with [myard to beginning a stamp indenture?] at our mutual expense when desired and triple time to be made to be made up by me for every day that I absent my self from your work if in health the whole I agree to and for my faith full performance of the same John [Haichmay?] mason in Crieff become bound [alongst?] with me to implement the above and hat is contained in your said offer to me and I am Dr. Sir
