Description
Alma Margaret Tattrie was born in 1861 and died in 1943. She went to the U.S.A when she was young and worked as a seamstress in wealthy homes. She enjoyed the life, especially when they would travel to Europe. She was slim and beautiful and became engaged. Alma's finance died and she fell into a severe state of shock. She returned home to look after her aged parents and ended up keeping house for her bachelor brother Calvin until her death. She regretted not returning to the states.
Alma was the owner of two autograph books in the Tattrie Family collection. They can also be viewed on the wesite.
