This elm tree was planted by French Monks at the same time as they built the church. The tree is still very much alive aster 1000 years as opposed to the church which was mostly destroyed by fire during the reformation.
Leonard Bowman Robertson (1918-?). He was the second son of Louisa Reid Ives and Leonard Bowman Robertson. Leonard was a Captain in the British army during WW2. He married Edna Effie Bell (1920-?). Leonard (2nd) is a G grandson ow William Ives.
Thomas Cantley (1867-1945) was the son of Charles Cantley (1826-?)and Catharine Fraser (1828-?) Charles married Maria Fraser (1863-?)
Jessie Fraser (1855-1947) married Charles Lever Rood (1850-1922). Jessie's parents were John Fraser (1806-1894) and Annie Robertson (1818-1909)
Catharine Fraser is the spouse of George Ives (1770-1862). She is the mother of William Ives (1808-1880). She is also the daughter of Charles Fraser (1748-1847) - a Hector passenger.
Leonard Bowman Robertson (1918-?) is in the 1st row, 4th from the left standing behind Field Martial Montgomery. Leonard is the son or Louisa Ives (1889-1982) and Leonard Bowman Robertson (1890-1972)
