Will of Jane Hamilton late of Westville, Deceased, Widow

Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds

I Jane Hamilton Widow of the late Paul Hamilton Merchant of Westville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia being of sound mind and memory  do make and publish this as my last will and Testament 

I do nominate and appoint my friends Daniel Hayman Elder and Alexander W McBain Esq both of Westville aforesaid executors of this my Will and Testament

 I hereby direct my said executors to pay out of my personal property all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease.

I devise and bequeath to my son Allan Weir Hamilton all my real estate

I devise and bequeath to my two daughters Eliza Good wife of George Good of Spring Hill in Cumberland County and Janet Perry wife of Henry Perry all my personal property each to get one half the division to be made as equally as possible by  my executors

It is my desire that my son Allan W Hamilton to whom I have bequeathed all my real estate shall exercise a brotherly care over my daughter Janet Perry and if it be necessary provide ofr her support

In Witness Whereof I the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Jane Hamilton late of Westville in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 22nd  day of February 1901.

Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 25th. day of February 1901
