Will of Geo. Blackwood, Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last will and testament of George Blackwood of Stellarton in the County of Pictou
First - I give devise and bequeath to each of my children, James William Blackwood, Margaret McKay, Elizabeth A McKay, Sarah Fraser, Jane McNaughton, Isabella McIntosh, and John George Blackwood the sum of twenty Dollars each
Second - I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Ann for her life time all my real property whatsoever and wheresoever, I also give and bequeath to my said wife all the residue of my personal property for her life time my intention being that she shall have the right to use so much thereof as is necessary for her proper maintenance and support
Third - I give devise and bequeath to my step-daughter Jane F Vincent all my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever to be hers absolutely forever after the death of my wife Mary Ann Blackwood, and I also give and bequeath to my step-daughter Jane F Vincent all my personal property whatsoever and wheresoever both hereinafter specially devised including all the personal property that shall be left after the death of my wife Mary Ann Blackwood
In case my wife Mary Ann shall have died before my death I give devise and bequeath to my said step-daughter Jane F Vincent all my real and personal property remaining after the payment of the monies hereinbefore specially made to my children
I hereby appoint R H Graham of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou the executor of this my Will Dated at New Glasgow in the County of Pictou this twelfth day of September A.D. 1905

Signed by the said Testator, as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses at his request.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of George Blackwood late of Stellarton in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the eighth day of May AD 1906.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 8th. day of May AD 1906.
