Will of Alex N Gunn, Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
Know all men by these present
that I Alexander N Gunn of Willowdale in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer being in poor health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and as to my worldly estate and all the property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized or possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose of in the manner following To wit -
First - my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors hereinafter named to be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient
Item - I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine Gunn the house in which I live and all the household furniture and one half of my property real personal and mixed of which I shall die seized or possessed to have and to hold the same to her her heirs executors and administrators forever
I give to my son James Angus Gunn the remainder of all my property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized or possessed to have and to hold the same to him his heirs executors and assigns forever
And lastly I do nominate and appoint my son James Angus Gunn and Joseph Cameron of East River St. Mary's to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament
In Testimony Whereof I the said Alexander N Gunn have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this one sheet of paper Subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this thirty first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Alexander Gunn as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence time and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander N Gunn late of Willowdale in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the eleventh day of October AD 1902.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 11th. day of October AD 1911.
