Estate of McConchie Gunn, late of East River St. Mary's, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I McConchie Gunn Farmer, of East River St. Mary's  in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia  make this my last Will.

I give devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal as follows that is to say to my son John William Gunn The said Saw Mill and the yard about it used for lumber and all my book accounts due me at the time of my decease for Sawing.

To my daughter Mary Ann Gunn and Margaret Jennet Gunn and my Son Angus Stirling a comfortable living while they may choose to remain at home and when they may leave the house they are each to have if they devise one Cow. To my son Alexander Ross Gunn all the remainder of my property real and personal or mixed. The lands, the House, Barns, & outbuildings, the stock, Horses, Cattle, Sheep, and Swine, The Carts, Waggons, and all the farming implements, after all the lawful debts I now owe or may owe at the date of my decease out of the estate bequeathed.

I appoint William Ross, Farmer of Blue Mountain in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia and James Gunn of East River St. Mary's  in County and Province aforesaid Executors of this my  Will.

In witness whereof I have Signed and Sealed and published and declared this instrument as my Will at East River St. Mary's in the County of Pictou on this the Twenty ninth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three.

The said McConchie Gunn of East River St. Mary's on said twenty ninth day of September, Signed and Sealed  this instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last Will and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of McConchie Gunn late of East River St. Mary's, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou, this 27th day of April A.D. 1894.
