Estate of Paul Grant, late of French River, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
This is the last Will of Paul Grant of French River in the County of Pictou Province of Nova Scotia Farmer
I the said Paul Grant being of Sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will as follows revoking all former Wills.
First - I give devise and bequeath to my wife Mary Grant during the term of her natural life that lot of land Situate at French River on which I now reside containing one hundred and fifty acres of land more or less, my said wife to have and to hold the same during her natural life, and at her death I will devise and bequeath the same with all the buildings thereon to my two daughters Mary Agnus Grant and Margaret Jane Grant and the survivor of them share and share alike and their heirs and assigns for ever.
Second - I give devise and bequeath to my said two daughters Mary Agnus Grant and Margaret Jane Grant their heirs and assigns share and share alike and the survivor of them all my personal property of whatever nature or description which shall remain after paying the expenses of my funeral and processing this my Will and paying all my just and legal debts and all bequests hereafter made.
Third - I give and bequeath to my sons James Hugh and George the sum of one dollar each.
I hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter Margaret Jane Grant and John D. Fraser of French River Farmer as my executrix and executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I the said Paul Grant have to this my last Will and testament Subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this second day of May A.D. 1891.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the said Paul Grant as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and a half pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Paul Grant late of French River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 3rd day of Octr. A.D. 1896.
