Estate of John Grant, late of Finner's Mountain, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
I, John Grant of Finner's Mountain in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia being in good health of body and of Sound mind and memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following - To wit -
first - It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and Funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as convenient after my decease.
first - I give and bequeath to my wife all my real and personal property that I will be in possession of at my death as long as she remains a widow, but in the event of her getting married again, my will is that the said property go back to my four children namely Thomas, Alexander W., Mary C. and Daniel Grant.
Second - I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Margaret and Thomas G. Grant my son as the Executors of this my last Will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fourth day of February A.D. 1895.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Grant late of Finner's Mountain, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 12th day of June A.D. 1899.
