Estate of William Graham late of New Glasgow, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will and Testament of me William Graham of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou and province of Nova Scotia.
I order and it is my Will that a right of way twelve feet wide be laid off through the middle of my estate to be in common to all the persons to whom I have hereinafter bequeathed my Real Estate so far as the same may be necessary. The said right of way to begin at the road or street leading from the town of New Glasgow past the north side of my estate at a point in the middle of the said Estate, thence Southerly to my south line and parallel with my west line.
I also order and it is my Will that the lots of land hereinafter bequeathed to my son Captain John George Graham aforesaid shall be liable for no debts to which my estate may be liable at the time of my decease.
And I also order and it is my Will that my son Roderic Graham shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars out of the property hereinafter bequeathed to my wife Ann Graham at the time of her death.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Ann Graham my Homestead with orchard and garden Bounded and described as follows namely Beginning at the point hereinbefore mentioned in the centre of the aforesaid right of way thence westerly of the course of my North line to my northwest corner, thence Southerly or the course of my west line to a point directly in a range with a hedge fence on the South side of what is called the orchard thence easterly the course of the said hedge fence to the centre of the aforesaid right of way, thence northerly to a point in a range with a fence on the South side of what is called the garden, thence easterly the course of the said garden fence to a point Forty eight feet distant from my east line thence northerly and parallel with my east line to my north line thence westerly to the place of beginning, subject nevertheless to the payment of one hundred dollars out of the said Ann Graham estate at the time of her decease to Roderic Graham hereinbefore mentioned, subject also to the privileges of the right of way hereinbefore described.
I give devise and bequeath to my son Captain John George Graham aforesaid a lot of land one hundred and fifty feet wide adjoining the orchard bequeathed to my wife Ann Graham, bounded on the west by my west line and on the east by the centre of the aforesaid right of way.
I give devise and bequeath to my grandson William Graham son of John George Graham aforesaid a lot of land one hundred feet wide bounded on the west by my west line on the east by the centre of the aforesaid right of way.
I give devise and bequeath to my son Harvey Graham the lot of land adjoining that bequeathed to my grandson William Graham I specify no breadth for this lot it being the remainder of the western half of my estate.
I give devise and bequeath to my grand daughter Harriet Graham daughter of my son Harvey Graham aforesaid a lot of land one hundred feet wide bounded on the South by my South line on the east by my east line and on the west by the centre of the aforesaid right of way.
I give devise and bequeath to my son Roderic Graham the remainder of the eastern half of my estate hereinbefore disposed of, Bounded and described as follows on the South by the lot bequeathed to my grand daughter Harriet Graham, on the west by the centre of the aforesaid right of way, on the east by my east line and on the North by the garden fence so called and on my North line a distance of Forty eight feet, subject nevertheless to certain privileges to my wife Ann Graham - that is to say that she shall have the use of the barn on the lot bequeathed to my son Roderic Graham and a right of way to the same ten feet wide on the south side of the said garden and adjoining the same and so much at the east end of said garden as may be actually necessary for her convenience to and from the same, which privileges shall cease at the time of her decease and shall go to my son the said Roderic Graham.
Lastly I do hereby annul and revoke all Wills heretofore made by me and nominate and appoint my son Harvey Graham and my son in law Duncan C. Fraser Esquire to be Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal at New Glasgow in the County of Pictou aforesaid this First day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and ninety one.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of three pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Graham late of New Glasgow, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 14th day of April A.D. 1894.
