Estate of William S. Fraser, late of Middle River, Merchant, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all me by these presents that I William S. Fraser of Middle river in the County of Pictou, Merchant, being of sound mind and memory Do make and publish d this my last Will and testament.
1st. I give and devise to my beloved wife Marion Fraser the rooms on the ground floor in the main house in which I now reside also all the furniture Beds and Bedding contained in the whole house. Also the sum of One Hundred and Twenty dollars a year for each and every year She survives me. At the death of my said wife the furniture above referred if any of it still remains undisposed of by her the same shall be sold and the proceeds arising therefrom shall be equally divided between my son Isaac my daughters Sarah and Mary E and my grand Daughter Nellie wife of Thos. M. Fraser.
2nd. give and devise to my son Isaac the farm on which I now reside also the House on the same at the death of my said wife also all the personal property on or belonging to the same such as farming implements wagons carts Horses Cow &e. &e.
3rd. give and devise to the Trustees of the Presbyterian College of Halifax Fifty Dollars for the Foreign Mission Eastern Section Presbyterian Church of Canada.
4th. I hereby order my Executors hereinafter appointed to sell the house in which William Chew now resides to him said Wiliam Chew for the sum of Two hundred dollars.
I hereby give and devise to my niece Jessie E. Chew wife of William Chew aforesaid the sum of Forty dollars said sum to be deducted in equal shares from the portions hereinafter devised to my two Daughters Sarah and Mary E. I hereby order my Executors to deduct the amt devised to Jessie E. Chew off the price of the house offered to William Chew if she wishes it paid to her that way.
5th. I hereby order my Executors to dispose of all my real and personal property herein undevised to collect all moneys due to my estate and deposit the Same with the money arising from the Sales of my property aforesaid in the Bank of Nova Scotia. The interest arising from such deposits or as much of the same as shall be required to be applied to paying my said wife her annual allowance of one hundred and twenty dollars above mentioned.
6th. At the death of my said wife I hereby order my executors hereinafter appointed to divide all my money lying in the Bank aforesaid as follows, viz -
I devise and bequeath to my son Isaac One and a half shares of the whole amount to my daughters Sarah Campbell and Mary E. Gray a share each of the whole amt. excepting the portion deducted from each share in favor of Jessie E. Chew, hereinbefore mentioned and one half share to my Grand Daughter Nellie wife of Thos. M. Fraser. The four shares mentioned in this Section intended to include all my Estate hereinbefore undevised.
I hereby nominate and appoint my son Isaac S. Fraser and my friend Andrew McPherson of Middle River Farmer, Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said William S. Fraser have hereunto Subscribed my hand this twenty sixth day of February A.D. 1895.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William S. Fraser, late of Middle river in the County of Pictou, Merchant, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 21st. day of March A.D. 1895.
