Estate of William Fraser, late of New Glasgow, Doctor of Medicine, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I William Fraser of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou & Province of Nova Scotia, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
1st. I give and bequeath to my wife Mary M. Fraser all my real and personal property during her natural life, or so long as she may remain unmarried.
2nd. At the death or remarriage of my said wife I will and devise the whole of my said real and personal property to such of my children as may then Survive. Said property to be equally divided among them my said Children, the share or shares of such of them shall have attained their majority to be paid over to them as soon as conveniently be realised upon and apportioned and the share r shares of such of them as may be minors to be placed in the Dominion Savings Bank, on their behalf and paid over to them as they Severally become of lawful age. Save and except that the Homestead lot and premises shall remain as a home for my said wife and such of my said children as may choose to reside therein, until the decease of my said wife, after which event it shall be sold and the proceeds divided and paid over to each and all of my children in manner above specified.
3rd. Any sum or sums paid out for college expenses to one or more of my said children shall be deducted from their portion of my said property and divided in equal proportion among the other members of my said family.
4th. I hereby authorize and empower my said wife, if in her opinion she may deem it advisable to allow the principal sum of the portion of any one of my said children to remain in the Dominion Savings Bank as aforesaid and to pay over to each one of them the interest falling due from time to time on such principal sum till such time as she consider to prudent to entrust the whole amount to his or her keeping, and with power to appoint a trustee to carry out this provision after her demise.
5th. I hereby appoint my said wife Mary M. Fraser George McDougall all, of said New Glasgow, Gentleman, and John McDonald (Hector's son) of Hopewell in said County, Farmer, as Executrix and Executors of this my Will.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Fraser, late of New Glasgow, in the County of Pictou, Medical Doctor, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 2nd day of August A.D. 1890.
