Estate of John Fraser, late of West River, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I John Fraser of Twelve Mile House in the County of Pictou, Farmer do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First, I give devise and bequeath all my household furniture of every description to my beloved wife Annie Fraser and my daughter Mary Jane Fraser to their own use to be disposed of as they shall think fit.

Second, I direct my executors hereinafter named to convert all the residue and remainder of my goods, property, and estate of whatever nature and kind into money and after payment of my just debts and liabilities funeral and testamentary expenses to divide the balance then remaining into thirty five equal parts and pay therefrom as follows.

To my wife Annie Fraser ten (10) of such parts. To my daughter Mary Jane Fraser ten (10) of such parts. To my Anna Fraser ten (10) of such parts.

To my daughter Christiana Ives one (1) of such parts. To my daughter Jessie Rood one (1) of such parts. To my daughter Alice Daniels one (1) of such parts. To my grandson Russell Fraser son of James Fraser the remaining two (2) of such parts.

I direst the foregoing legacies to be paid in full without any abatement by reason of advances or gifts I may have made in my lifetime to any or either of said legatees.

I appoint my wife Annie Fraser Executrix and John Colin Reid Gentleman and Joseph Graham Merchant both of New Glasgow in Pictou County, Executors of this my  Will.

In witness whereof I John Fraser the Testator have to this my will set my hand this fourteenth day of June A.D. 1893.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Fraser late of Twelve Mile House, West River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this first day of March A.D. 1894.
