Estate of Ellen Fraser, late of Stellarton, Widow, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Ellen Fraser of Stellarton in the County of Pictou formerly of New Glasgow in said County, Widow, do make and declare this my last Will and Testament at the same time revoking any Will or testament by me at any time heretofore made.
I direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay all my just debts funeral and other expenses and the expenses attendant upon the settlement of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease, and out of the Sums remaining to pay the legacies hereinafter mentioned.
I give devise and bequeath to my dear niece Ellen L. Culton daughter of my brother John Culton the lot of land and the buildings connected therewith, owned and formerly occupied by me at said New Glasgow. To her also I give and bequeath all m y household furniture and the personal effects that are in the house upon said lot.
I give and bequeath to the Board of Trustees of the Aberdeen Hospital, One hundred dollars for the purpose of the Hospital.
I give and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my estate in equal shares to my sister Barbara Ferguson, to my brother James R. Culton and to my niece Christy Mitchell wife of Alexander Mitchell of Stellarton aforesaid
I nominate and appoint my friend James Ross Superintendent of Streets in said New Glasgow, Executor of this my Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto my hand and Seal Subscribed and set this twenty sixth day of September A.D. 1896.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Ellen Fraser the testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at her request in her presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

In the Court for the Probate of Wills 1898
I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Ellen Fraser late of Stellarton, in the County of Pictou, Widow, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand and the Seal of the said Court at Pictou, this 17th day of November A.D. 1898.
