Estate of Donald Fraser, late of Lorne, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen. I Donald Fraser of Lorne in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer, being at present weak and inform of body, but in full and unimpaired possession of all my mental faculties, considering the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death  do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament,

First and principally I recommend my soul to God who gave it, and my body to Christian burial, and  touching such worldly possessions with which I have been blessed, I give devise and bequeath in manner and form following that is to say,

To my dearly beloved wife Margaret Fraser I give devise and bequeath for the full term of her natural life the dwelling house and barns now owned and occupied by me together with the lands on which they are situated and three acres additional abounding the same. At the death of the said Margaret Fraser the above mentioned dwelling house , barns, and land to be the sole property of my son George W. Fraser for his use and benefit for ever.

To my well beloved son the said George W. Fraser, I give devise and bequeath the whole residue of my real estate, and all my personal property of whatever nature or kind, to be owned enjoyed and occupied as his Sole right forever.

And I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved friends Hugh H. Fraser and Hugh A. Fraser of Lorne Joint Executors of this my  last Will and Testament. I further hereby cancel, annull and revoke all and every former Will by me made if any be found, and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the Testator have hereunto Subscribed my name and set my Seal this nineteenth day of April A.D. 1890.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald Fraser late of Lorne, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this ninth day of May A.D. 1890.
