Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
McLellan's Brook April 29th 1879
This is the last Will and Testamentary of me David Fraser of McLellan's Brook, Pictou County.
I first commit my Soul and Spirit to God who gave it, and gratiously supported me hitherto.
I will and bequeath to my beloved wife as her own personal and private property one good milch cow and five sheep being the same number of livestock she brought to my farm, also the third of the front of my orchard be given to her during her natural life also the whole of the Household furniture belonging to me, Bedsteads and Bedclothes Bolsters and pillows Except one Bedstead and Feather Bed and Bed findings which I will to my Grandson Gilvery Fraser
I also will to my beloved wife my two shares in the Shareholding Bank and my share in the Savings Bank, Both Banks held in the Post Office Building New Glasgow.
I will to my son Alexander David a certain piece or parcel of land described as follows that is beginning at a stake at the Back of a drain at the South east corner, of a lot of land belonging to the said Alexander and to run west ten rods or until it comes to the old road leading up McLellan's Brook thence to run in a Southerly direction on the east side of said road Twenty rods or until i comes to the North side of the heirs of the late Simon Fraser thence to run East on said line thirteen rods thence to run in a Straight northern direction to the place of beginning, containing one acre and three quarters more or lefs.
I will to my son John what remains of my Farm after my son Alexander gets which is willed to him.
I will further that if my Beloved wife after my death removes from home to get nearer the preached Gospel or any other cause that my son John is to give her yearly one Barrel of good Flour and Sixty pounds of Oatmeal.
I will Further that my beloved wife is to have my waggon and harness as her own personal and private property,
I will to my son Walter Smith all my body clothes.
I further will to my Grandson Gilvery Fraser my two hand Saws and tennant Saw, Grooving planes and Beed Foot adge and Broad Ax, and all the Bench Tools belonging to me that can be found, this is the last will of mine.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and a half pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of David Fraser late of McLellan's Brook in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 30th day of August A.D. 1888.
