Will of Robert Falconer, deceased

 Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds

 I Robert Falconer of Green Hill, in the County of Pictou, in the Province of Nova Scotia Farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore at any time by me made.

 I hereby appoint Howard Kennedy of Alma my son John M Falconer, and my wife Margaret S Falconer, to be the executors and executrix of this my Will.

 I hereby give, devise, and bequeath, all my real, and personal estate of every kind, and description, whatsoever and wherever situated, or found of which I shall be possessed at my decease unto my wife Margaret S Falconer, for her use, and for the maintenance of a home for herself, and for my children during her lifetime.

 My will is further that after the decease of my wife Margaret s Falconer, all my personal and real estate, then shall become the property absolutely of the one of my Sons who shall have remained at home with his mother and worked upon and cared for the farm or homestead for her and for the sustenance of the home, that son to be the one chosen by my wife with the consent or approval of one or both of my executors, but should no one of my Sons be willing to faithfully and efficiently conform to these conditions then if necessary in the judgement of my wife and one or both of my executors the whole property or estate may be sold and two thirds of the net proceeds shall become the property of my wife absolutely in lieu of dower and the remaining one third shall be equally divided among my children living at the time.

 If my wife remaining on the homestead should die before the youngest of my children should come of legal age then the whole estate shall be sold or valued by the probate appraisers and the proceeds divided among my living children giving to each one share and to the son remaining there with his mother on the homestead nine additional shares thereof.

 In Witness Whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three (1903 A.D.)

 I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Robert Falconer late of Green Hill in the said County of Pictou Farmer deceased  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court on the 31st. day of March 1903 at Pictou in said County.
