Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.

This is the last Will and Testament of Alexander Fraser of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, Pattern Maker.

I Alexander Fraser of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, Pattern Maker, being through the blessing of God of sound mind and memory but knowing that it is appointed that all shall die do make and ordain this as and for my Last Will and testament.

I commit my Soul to God hoping for the forgiveness of all my sins through the merits and mediation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and I order that be decently buried by t Executors hereinafter named and my worldly goods my body I dispose of as follows viz---

- Firstly, I give and devise to my beloved wife Catherine Ann all my Real Estate situate and being in the town of New Glasgow on the west side of the East River Consisting of Forty four acres, be the same more or less with all and Singular the Houses and other buildings with the appurtenances to her Sole use and benefit for ever.

Secondly, I give and devise to my beloved wife Catherine Ann as aforesaid all and singular my personal property, Goods, Chattels, and effects of every kind and description whatsoever to be disposed of by her as she may see fit.

I nominate ordain and appoint my said wife Catherine Ann as Executrix and my brother John Fraser of New Glasgow aforesaid as Executor of this my last Will and testament, and thus revoking all other wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this thirtieth day of May A.D. 1885.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander Fraser, late of New Glasgow, Pattern Maker, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
