Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds

This is the last will and testament of me Margaret Catherine Foster of Pictou Landing in the County of Pictou Spinster

I hereby revoke all former will at any time heretofore made by me.

I devise all my just debts, funeral and Testamentary expenses to be paid and satisfied by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

I appoint Hector H. McKay of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou aforesaid Medical Doctor to be the Sole executor and Trustee of this my Will

I direct my executor and Trustee to take the sum of one hundred Dollars from my personal state and use the same from tie to time and at such times as to him may seem fit and proper in repairing and keeping in good order and condition our family lot in Greenwood Cemetery and at the death of Christy Bell McDougald hereinafter named my said executor may exercise his discretion in erecting a headstone to her memory.

I devise and bequeath the residue of my estate including all my real and personal property of whatever kind and description and wheresoever situate unto Annie Christie wife of John R Christie of Pictou Landing aforesaid subject however to the following condition namely that the said Annie Christie is to provide a house for Christy Bell McDougald of Pictou Landing aforesaid Spinster during her natural life or as long as she may desire to remain in the homestead where she now resides at Pictou Landing aforesaid and further to provide food, clothing medical and other care and attendance for the said Christy Bell McDougald as she may require the same from time to time

and I direct that the home food clothing Medical and other Care and attendance for the said Christy Bell McDougald shall Constitute a lien upon my said real estate

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and subscribed my name this 20th. day of June in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Margaret Catherine Foster late of Pictou Landing in the County of Pictou Spinster deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the seventh day of February AD 1908.
