Estate of William Forbes, late of New Glasgow, Cooper deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I William Forbes of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia Trader declare this to be my last Will and Testament.
I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife all my real and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever except as hereinafter mentioned, to hold unto to her, her heirs, Executor, and administrators, according to the respective nature and qualities of the said premises, absolutely and forever.
I give devise and bequeath unto William Forbes McKenzie, son of David McKenzie of New Glasgow a lot of land and premises in the South East Corner of the premises I now own, and which Lot is now occupied by the said David McKenzie to extend along Hunter Street from the Western boundary of the railway forty feet, and from said Hunter Street North, in a line parallel with said Railway boundary Sixty feet, to hold unto him the said William Forbes McKenzie and his heirs, after he attains the age of twenty one years, and until the said William Forbes McKenzie shall attain the said age of twenty one years my said wife Bella Forbes shall hold and enjoy the said last mentioned lot of land.
I hereby revoke all former testamentary writings.
I appoint Thomas E. Fraser of New Glasgow Merchant, Sole Executor of this my Will.
In witness whereof I the said William Forbes have hereto set my hand and Seal this first day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty one.

Signed by the said testator in the presence of us, who in his presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses, being first read over and explained to the testator before execution.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Forbes, late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, deceased, testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
