Cora Rae was born at Roger's Hill, Pictou County in 1889, the daughter of Adam Rae and Margaret MacDonald Rae.  Cora married John Campbell on 20 October 1909.  John was the son of Nancy MacKenzie Campbell and Walter Campbell of Diamond, Pictou County.  They had at least three daughters.  John died in 1938 and Cora in 1966. Cora and John are buried at Bethel Cemetery in Scotsburn.
